Blackberry Festival
One of our annual events is the Blackberry Festival held during the week of the Independence Day, July 4th. A celebration for the county that brings food, music, dancing, games and amusement rides to the courthouse lawn. A Main Street parade showcases many of the county's best service people, veterans, sports teams, farm equipment, and horses. The parade ends with the crowning of the Blackberry Queen. It is an excellent time for socialization with good friends and neighbors.
