9/11/01 Memorial Fire Pole
The owner of the Mercury Building has a life-long interest in fire fighting and wanted his home and fire station to reflect that. When he ordered the fire pole, he learned the company had begun to make it on 9/11/01. He decided the fire pole should be dedicated in memory of the 343 firemen who died at the World Trade Center.

The memorial was designed by Karen Bruner of Lexington and made by Blast Art, also of Lexington, with the dedication sentences written by the owner.
