Lake Carnico
This scenic 105 acre lake located just off of Highway 68 in Nicholas County is the perfect place to get away from the hustle & bustle. Lake Carnico is owned by the Nicholas County Development Corporation, a non-profit organization which was formed in 1961 for the purpose of building the lake and the adjacent 4-H Camp for the betterment of Nicholas County.
Visitors are welcome to enjoy the public beach and boat ramp. So pack a picnic, load up your beach gear and kayak, and come out to enjoy a day on the water at this hidden gem.
