Nicholas County Historical Society to celebrate 50th anniversary

The Nicholas County Historical Society will commemorate its 50th anniversary with a celebration on June 7th at 6:00 pm. The celebration will include a catered dinner with live music by Jerry Galibraith, The Elementary History Club portraying famous Nicholas County Historical Characters,The Young Adult History club composed of High School and College Age Students, Historical Art Show sponsored in cooperation with the Nicholas County Courthouse Square Arts Guild, and guest speakers from the Kentucky State Historical Society. Reservations are required for the dinner at a cost of $25.00 per person. Please join us as we celebrate 50 years of preserving NIcholas County History!
Wendt's Wildlife Adventure opens for the 2024 season
The Young Adult Historical Society at the Nicholas County Museum was on hand to donate their time and help out as Wendt's Wildlife Adventure kicked off their 4th season with a bang on Wednesday, March 27. WWA is truly one of Nicholas County's greatest success stories and it's a pleasure to watch their park and their business continue to grow and attract more and more people from far and wide. We wish them all the best in the 2024 season!
